Raising Children

Before I was a mother I saw the phrase "I have found I've learned the most about God through raising my children".  I stumbled upon a similar quote today & this time I understood the meaning.  I was there when they took their first breaths & I listened to their first cries.  When they were born I literally felt the presence of God sitting next to me.  Everyday I learn more about how to be a better mother & in turn how to be a better person because of them.  They continue to teach me about patience, forgiveness & faith.  And so I find it's true that I began learning the most about God the day I welcomed the first of my three miracles to this world.
